Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a mid-level Back End (C# .NET) Software Engineer.
The role covers the full software development lifecycle, including design, development, testing, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
This is a 2-year fixed-term, home-based role for qualified candidates in the UK.
Workplace and schedule
- The role is home-based in the United Kingdom.
- The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday.
- As-needed travel of 0–20% may be required.
Technology stack
- Core technologies include JavaScript, C# .NET, Azure Bicep, YAML, Python, ReactJS, NextJS, and .NET Core.
- Data and cloud technologies include Azure Cosmos DB, Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Azure Storage, and Key Vault.
- Delivery and quality tools include Azure DevOps, PactFlow, Cypress, Selenium, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Git.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and document scalable, secure, and efficient software applications.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to understand requirements and design solutions.
