About the Role
RoyalJet is seeking a B2 Licensed Aircraft Engineer to ensure maintenance and certification of aircraft systems. The role requires 10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, a valid UAE GCAA B2 license, and type ratings on BBJ, Global, and A320.

Responsibilities
- Ensure maintenance tasks and certification of Royal Jet aircraft/aircraft systems during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inputs
- Supervise maintenance staff to ensure safe and on time dispatch of aircraft
- Accompany aircraft when away from base as Licensed Aircraft Engineer
- Monitor ADD’s and all other defects on Royal Jet Fleet and arrange for rectification
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspection, maintenance, modification, and defect rectification
- Ensure all maintenance and due items called up by Fleet Planner and MCC Controller are performed in a timely manner
- Exercise license/approval in relation to accomplishment of scheduled, unscheduled maintenance and rectification of defects
- Comply with Royal Jet MOE and PPM when working on aircraft
- Report and compile technical Delay reports in a timely manner
- Monitor modification status of the aircraft he is authorized on
Requirements
- 10 Years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance, 5 years of which as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, preferably in a VVIP Maintenance environment
- Educated to a degree level in Aeronautical Engineering
- Valid UAE GCAA License, B2 License
- Holding BBJ, Global and A320 Type Ratings
- Full rating on at least two type of aircraft operated by RoyalJet
- Familiarity with the EASA/FAA/UAE GCAA regulatory rules
- Sound technical background
- Experience on at least types of Royal Jet Operated aircraft
- Experience with VVIP Maintenance Environment
- Experience with large carrier/maintenance organization

Job Purpose
- Ensure maintenance tasks and certification of Royal Jet aircraft/aircraft systems during scheduled and unscheduled maintenance inputs including 'A' checks, 'C' checks, Line maintenance checks, trouble shooting, defect rectification, components removal/installation, routine servicing and IFE,SATCOM,A
Responsibilities
- Develop and embed a culture of customer focus and performance management.
- Ensure regular and effective communication between other departments.
- Ensure that the organisation’s approach to data protection, security and retention complies with best practice.
- To develop, continuously improve and implement the organisations approach to risk management.
- Ensure appropriate applications of certification privileges in accordance with the limitations of Company and Local Regulatory Authorizations.
- Supervision of Maintenance staff, allocated to him by the Duty Supervisor, to ensure safe and on time dispatch of aircraft under his control.
- Accompany aircraft when away from base as Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
- Monitors ADD’s and all other defects on Royal Jet Fleet and arrange for its rectification, including arranging of spares and tooling at the earliest opportunity.
- Monitor closely of operational problems related to the fleet, including significant occurrences/incidents, relevant SB’s/SL’s/SIL’s.
- Perform scheduled and unscheduled inspection, maintenance, modification, and defect rectification, carrying out all maintenance in accordance with the laid down procedures and ensuring all safety precautions are observed.
- Ensure and perform all maintenance and due items called up by Fleet Planner and MCC Controller in a timely manner.
- Successfully perform job tasks and functions as per Royal Jet Maintenance Organization Exposition (MOE) and Policies and Procedure Manual (PPM).
Qualifications
- 10 Years’ experience in Aircraft Maintenance, 5 years of which as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer, preferably in a VVIP Maintenance environment.
- Educated to a degree level in Aeronautical Engineering.
- Valid UAE GCAA License, B2 License.
- Holding BBJ, Global and A320 Type Ratings.
- Full rating on at least two type of aircraft operated by RoyalJet.
- Familiarity with the EASA/FAA/UAE GCAA regulatory rules.
- Sound technical background.
- Experience on at least types of Royal Jet Operated aircraft.
