Introduction

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Design, build, and maintain secure Azure cloud infrastructure across networking, compute, storage, databases, and container platforms.
  • Develop and manage Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) environments to support resilient, scalable application deployments.
  • Architect and support hybrid and multi cloud connectivity solutions, including VPNs, routing, and wide area network integrations.
  • Implement cloud security best practices, ensuring platforms remain secure, compliant, and operationally robust.
  • Lead the development of CI/CD pipelines, enabling efficient and reliable software delivery.
  • Use Infrastructure as Code and automation to improve consistency, reduce manual effort, and enhance platform reliability.
  • Deliver monitoring and observability solutions that provide visibility into platform health and performance.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, delivery teams, and stakeholders to design and implement effective technical solutions.
  • Manage source control and repository platforms to support development workflows and collaboration.
  • Provide technical guidance to development teams on platform capabilities, standards, and best practices.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on scalability, maintainability, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends, helping shape future platform capabilities.

Main Skills Needed

  • Proven experience in Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or similar roles.
  • Strong expertise across Microsoft Azure services, architecture, administration, and cloud operations.
  • Azure certifications such as AZ 104 and AZ 305 would be highly beneficial.
  • Deep understanding of Azure networking, including Virtual WAN, ExpressRoute, VPN Gateways, BGP routing, NSGs, and Private Endpoints.
  • Hands on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration technologies.
  • Strong Infrastructure as Code capability using Terraform and related HashiCorp tooling.
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of Git, version control practices, and repository management.
  • Strong automation mindset with a track record of improving platform efficiency and reliability.
  • Knowledge of cloud security principles and secure by design approaches.
  • Exposure to JFrog tooling, Coder, AWS, or Google Cloud would be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem solving skills.
