Position Summary

Reporting to the Logistics Department, AZ Drivers are responsible for the pick-up and delivery of raw material and finished goods on a variety of routes and shifts.

SCHEDULE: MONDAY TO FRIDAY 10 TO 12 HOURS PER DAY

Essential Duties And Responsibiities

Required at times to drive out-of-town routes into the Greater Toronto Area, including Toronto
Evening shifts along with weekend work will be required depending on weekly route scheduling.
Accurate completion and submission of all required paperwork.
Conduct all interactions with customers and suppliers in a respectful, professional, and service oriented manner.
Required to formally report any concerns or customer service-related issues.
Responsible for following all Company and Health and Safety rules and for communicating all reportable incidents.

Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the AODA, ESA, OHSA and other federal, and provincial standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the AODA, ESA, OHSA and other federal, and provincial standards
Ability to keep up with physically demanding tasks such as repetitive bending, pulling, pushing, lifting etc.
Sitting for long stretches at a time (up to 3 hours)
Must be able to alternate between walking, standing and moving for periods of time.
Must be able to occasionally lift/carry up to 50 lbs
Must be able to climb onto truck trailers, climb truck ladders as required and stretch and view difficult areas
