Job Summary
Rewind Operator is responsible for having Rewind Machines staged with materials and tooling for efficient workflow. Run machine and complete jobs in an efficient manner. Assisting with Quality Control in the pressroom. Performing any other additional activities as directed by your supervisor (which may include running a machine, and/or assisting in maintenance needs).
Duties /Responsibilities
- Operates rewind machinery.
- Reviews client requests to understand scope and parameters of rewind jobs.
- Determines quantities required for rewind job.
- Aligns and configures machinery.
- Inspects random production samples to evaluate quality of work.
- Troubleshoots issues with rewind machine and makes basic repairs.
- Performs routine maintenance on rewind machines.
- Drafts and submits reports for daily production totals.
