AV Systems Design Engineer / Programmer

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced AV System Design Engineer/Programmer who is passionate about creating reliable, user-friendly AV solutions for K-12 learning environments.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience designing and programming AV systems commonly used in schools and holds current Extron certifications.

• Design complete AV systems for K-12 learning spaces, labs, conference rooms, and district facilities
• Develop and program Extron (among others) control systems, touch panels, audio DSPs, and switching equipment
• Produce detailed system drawings, signal flows, rack elevations, and installation documentation
• Collaborate with sales, project managers, and installation teams to ensure system success
• Conduct system testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Provide remote and on-site support during installation and post-deployment phases
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AV technologies, standards, and best practices
• Ensure all designs meet district requirements, code compliance, and internal quality standards

The full salary range for this position is $70,000 - $130,000 per year. New hires are typically brought in between $70,000 and $100,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
