Overview
Polymedia is seeking an AV Programming Engineer to configure and program AV and ICT equipment, integrate AV complexes with third-party systems, and provide technical support. The role involves working closely with vendors, conducting client training, and ensuring project delivery effectiveness.
Job Duties
- Configure and program AV and ICT equipment according to project documentation and schedule
- Integrate AV complexes with third-party systems such as Fire Alarm, Public Address, Lighting, BMS, etc.
- Provide technical support and rectify faulty systems/units
- Administer local networks, LANs, and VLANs
- Support project handover by presenting functionality and performance demonstrations to clients
- Conduct client training and develop required documentation
- Coordinate with client's IT, AV, or related services on project-related matters
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge through workshops, classes, and trainings
- Identify and address project issues, recommending troubleshooting options
- Support project planning by estimating operations duration and sequencing project processes
- Supervise subcontractors to deliver projects with high quality and on time
- Execute works in accordance with approved project documentation and vendors' best practices
