AV Commissioning Technician - Videoboards

Musco's Videoboards Team has an opening for a AV Commissioning Technician. The Commissioning Technician is responsible for verifying, configuring, and optimizing complex audio-visual and display systems. This role ensures that all audio, video, control, networking, and LED technologies are correctly integrated, programmed, tested, and fully operational before project completion. The technician serves as the on-site technical authority, resolving performance issues and providing end-user training on system operation and basic troubleshooting. Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast, Production, Audio/Visual Systems, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional development certifications (such as Dante Level 2 or AVIXA-recognized credentials) may be considered in lieu of a degree.

3-5 years of experience in a relevant field

Technical Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and diagnostic skills for identifying and resolving complex AV system issues.

Troubleshooting Under Pressure: Ability to work efficiently and effectively in time-sensitive or high-demand environments.

Customer Communication: Clear, professional communication skills with the ability to deliver structured end-user training.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in documentation, testing records, and system validation reporting.

Independent Work Capability: Able to operate autonomously in remote or field-based environments with minimal supervision.

Professionalism: Consistently represents the company positively in customer-facing and contractor-facing settings.
