The AV and ELV Technician is a full time, on site role based in Dubai.
The technician installs, configures, and maintains audio visual and extra low voltage systems across residential and commercial projects, including displays, projectors, speakers, control systems, and related cabling.
Daily responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, performing system tests, diagnosing and resolving equipment and network related issues, and ensuring neat, standards compliant installations.
The role involves coordinating with project engineers and other trades on site, documenting work performed, and providing basic user guidance to clients and end users.
The technician is expected to follow safety procedures, meet project deadlines, and support commissioning and handover activities as required.

Strong practical skills in Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of displays, speakers, and control systems.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in AV and ELV setups, including diagnostics, fault isolation, and corrective actions.
Experience with Video Conferencing solutions, including setup, integration with networks, and optimization for reliability and quality.
Hands on experience with Lighting control systems and Projectors, including mounting, alignment, cabling, and basic programming.
Familiarity with ELV systems (such as structured cabling, network equipment, CCTV, access control) is highly beneficial.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and system schematics.
Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and commitment to high quality workmanship.
Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with engineers, project managers, and other site teams.
Relevant technical diploma or certification in electronics, electrical engineering, or AV/ELV technologies preferred.
Previous experience as an AV or ELV technician in construction, fit out, or smart building projects in the UAE or GCC is an advantage.
