Autonomous Driving System Engineer - Architecture (PA, Pittsburgh)

Tackle the challenge of autonomous drive through innovative software stacks that interface with all components of the automated driving vehicles.

Serve as system architect for applicable domain.

Perform prototyping, field testing, and system configuration.

Collaborate with the larger team of Autonomous Driving engineers, gaining exposure to multiple engineering disciplines and several projects simultaneously throughout the development lifecycle.

Document system/software architecture in an unambiguous, clear, and understandable way that electrical, mechanical and software engineers know exactly what they have to do in order to meet customer expectations

Bachelor?s degree or higher in Computer Science or relevant field.

3+ years of System Architect design experience.

C++ development experience in a Unix/Linux environment.

Experience in Multi Core CPUs and multiple processor system design.

Strong problem solving skills.

Ability to learn.

Knowledge of software engineering process: software design, source control management, build processes, code reviews, etc.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Flexible and creative thinking.
