Autonomous Driving - R&D Software Engineer (PA, Pittsburgh)

Our R&D Engineers play a key role in making the vehicle of the future a reality by developing control technologies that deliver a turnkey, fully autonomous driving system for our customers and enable Mobility on Demand (MoD).

As we expand our global footprint, we are looking for exceptional vehicle control engineering talent to perform automotive tests and ensure the safety of our products.

Do you have a knack for working with networking systems or security software?

Are you experienced with real-time embedded systems or distributed and parallel systems?

If the answers are yes, we’re looking for you.

• Come up with high-level requirements and translate them into technical documentations to be implemented for new features in autonomous vehicles.
• Write efficient and easy-to-read software.
• Implement the corresponding unit/regression testing modules.
• Deploy the new features into the Delphi L4 automated driving prototype vehicles.
• Implement the prototype vehicle control algorithms in an autonomous vehicle for on-road and simulation tests.
• Work with algorithm experts in perception, motion planning and platform control.

• Build new concepts and groundbreaking solutions that shape the future of mobility.

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, ECE or relevant field.
• 2+ years of post-undergraduate or graduate experience with C++ software development within two or more of the following technologies: distributed and parallel systems, networking, large software systems, real-time embedded systems, and/or security software.
• 2 years of development experience in Unix/Linux Environments.
