Directly impact self-driving vehicles industry by leading a team of 2-3 engineers that are dedicated to designing and performing field testing on driving algorithms, identifying potential areas for improvement.

Research, Evaluate and Implement Case Testing

Oversee the maintenance, records and performance of Vehicles

Effectively conduct Million-Mile Field Testing

Consistent updating of the software update process for the AV fleet, while providing quality assurance testing and support for Engineering teams by collecting and analyzing detailed process steps, log files, and data input

Continually update and improve training materials

Design and conduct test drives to evaluate effectiveness of code and hardware changes and communicate performance metrics

Work hands-on with Vehicle Technicians to bring fleet up to date with current hardware

Collaborate with Operations and Vehicles teams to optimize scheduling processes for vehicle upgrades

Evaluate problems identified in production and assist with resolution strategies

Maintain detailed documentation related to specific vehicle-related work, providing clear and concise directions with pictures

Assist Vehicle Technicians with vehicle-related projects as needed

Instill that safety is the number one priority and that all test drives follow internal safety regulations

Keep work space clean and free of debris

Maintain a documented resource management plan and keep it up to date based on existing and pending projects

Escalate execution issues, as needed

Ensure that staff members are properly trained and mentored
