Role Description
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on a variety of vehicles to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance.
- Inspect vehicles, identify mechanical and electrical issues, and use diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Complete services such as oil changes, brake repairs, engine work, and suspension adjustments.
- Document work performed, communicate clearly with service advisors and colleagues, and follow workshop safety protocols and quality standards.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems (engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, electrical) and experience performing maintenance and mechanical repairs.
- Ability to use diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and technical manuals to identify and resolve vehicle faults efficiently.
- Solid understanding of workshop safety procedures, quality standards, and proper use of hand and power tools.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Relevant technical certification or diploma in automotive engineering or equivalent practical experience; manufacturer specific training is an advantage.
- Proven experience as an automotive technician or mechanic, preferably in a high volume or dealer standard workshop.
- Ability to work full time on site in Dubai, manage time effectively, and handle multiple repair orders with attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for using diagnostic software and maintaining service records; valid driving license is preferred.
