Automotive Mechanical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, and troubleshoot mechanical faults in passenger vehicles using advanced diagnostic equipment.
• Perform repair and maintenance of engine, transmission, suspension, steering, braking, cooling, and air conditioning systems.
• Conduct routine servicing and preventive maintenance according to manufacturer standards.
• Inspect vehicles and identify the root cause of mechanical issues, providing accurate repair recommendations.
• Perform road tests before and after repairs to ensure vehicle performance and safety.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, repair procedures, and wiring diagrams.
• Coordinate with Service Advisors and Workshop Supervisors to ensure timely and efficient completion of repairs.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with company quality standards and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate service records and job reports.
• Support junior technicians by providing technical guidance when required.
