- Process, verify, and code vendor invoices and payments accurately and timely
- Manage billing and collections for customer accounts, ensuring timely payments and resolving discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Reconcile vendor statements and customer accounts regularly
- Prepare and process monthly statements and aging reports
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve billing and payment issues
- Assist with month end close and financial reporting as needed
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures related to financial transactions
Requirements
- Previous experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable, preferably in an automotive dealership or related industry
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional accounting or finance education is a plus

Overview
- Classic Volkswagen of Gastonia is seeking an organized and detail oriented Automotive Dealership AP & AR Specialist to join our accounting team in Gastonia, NC.
- In this role, you will be responsible for managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions to support the dealership’s operations.
Responsibilities
