Design, implement, and execute high-value, easily maintainable API, CLI, and GUI test automation (automation framework and test cases) that effectively verifies product quality, using Playwright as the primary automation technology
Serve as SME for the Playwright-based Automation Framework and be accountable for its ongoing evolution, scalability, and best practices
Build and maintain reusable Playwright test suites, page object models, and CI/CD integrations for continuous testing
Collaborate regularly with members of Quality Engineering, Development, and Product Management to fully understand customer needs in order to design and implement optimal test automation solutions
Estimate, plan, and coordinate automation development and product testing activities in an Agile environment
Identify, thoroughly document, and track bugs/issues
Develop and configure test automation scripts and execute performance tests
Coordinate with product management and engineers to deliver on the stability of products
Requirements
Master's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
4 - 7 years of hands-on experience in testing web applications, databases, and API testing
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright for end-to-end test automation (required); familiarity with Selenium is a plus
Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing in an Agile/Scrum framework
