We are seeking an Automation Test Engineer to develop and maintain automated testing solutions. The role involves designing test automation frameworks, executing automated and manual testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and reusable test scripts
- Plan and execute functional, integration, regression, system, API, and end to end testing
- Identify, document, track, and verify software defects while working closely with development teams
- Develop automated test cases for web, mobile, desktop, and cloud based applications
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and continuous delivery
- Perform test planning, test execution, and test reporting to ensure software quality
- Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and recommend corrective actions
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Conduct performance, compatibility, and usability testing where applicable
- Maintain test environments, test data, and automation documentation
- Participate in code reviews, requirement reviews, and quality improvement initiatives
- Monitor testing metrics and recommend improvements to testing processes and automation coverage
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, quality assurance methodologies, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks and automated testing concepts
- Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, or similar
- Understanding of API testing, database testing, and web service validation
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems such as Git, and DevOps practices
- Knowledge of SQL and database concepts for data validation and testing
- Understanding of web technologies, mobile applications, and cross browser testing principles
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile or cross functional teams
