About the Role
GAFF Home Automation is seeking a full-time, on-site Technician in Dubai to install, configure, and test home automation systems including smart lighting, climate control, security, and audio-visual equipment.

Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test home automation systems including smart lighting, climate control, security devices, and audio visual equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and perform maintenance and upgrades.
- Ensure systems are integrated and functioning according to project specifications.
- Work closely with consultants, project managers, and clients to interpret technical plans.
- Provide clear explanations of system features and support end users during and after installation.
- Maintain documentation of installations and follow safety and quality standards.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of installation and service processes.
Requirements
- Technical proficiency in installing and configuring home automation, low voltage, or smart home systems
- Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical documentation
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience using hand tools and test equipment safely
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Previous experience in home automation, electrical, electronics, or related technical field
- Comfort working on site in residential and commercial environments in Dubai
- Basic computer literacy
- Vocational training or relevant certification is an advantage

- Comfort working on site in residential and commercial environments in Dubai, with flexibility for extended hours when required.
- Basic computer literacy, including familiarity with mobile apps and configuration interfaces.
