- Department: Manufacturing and Operations - SLPL.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Salary: ₹18,000–₹25,000 per month.
Role Overview
Scantech Laser is hiring a motivated, hands-on Junior Automation Engineer.
The role supports programming, electrical design, and commissioning for advanced laser systems, CNC automation, and custom industrial machines.
The position is intended to build fundamentals in PLC programming, control systems, and machine integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing electrical layouts and wiring diagrams using EPlan or AutoCAD Electrical.
- Support PLC programming for basic machine logic, I/O mapping, and interlocks under senior guidance.
- Help configure and test HMI/SCADA systems such as WinCC and TIA Portal.
- Assist with servo drives, VFDs, stepper motors, sensors, actuators, safety devices, and fieldbus communication.
- Participate in machine assembly, wiring, in-house testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and customer support.
- Prepare wiring schedules, bills of materials, basic electrical drawings, and support FAT and SAT processes.
