Automation Engineer

Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated warehouse equipment

Diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical faults to minimise downtime

Complete root cause investigations and implement corrective actions

Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve equipment performance

Accurately record maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards

Previous experience working with automation, conveyors, sortation systems or material handling equipment

Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding abilities

Experience working in a fast-paced operational or manufacturing environment

Relevant engineering qualification NVQ Level 3, ONC or equivalent

A proactive approach to problem solving with a strong focus on safety and reliability
