In this role, the successful candidate will need to:
Provide production and BAU support for existing automation solutions, ensuring stable and reliable operation.
Assist with incident investigation and root cause analysis, implementing approved fixes and remediation actions.
Monitor live automations and support go live activities under guidance.
Apply technical and workflow knowledge to troubleshoot and analyze automation behavior.
Maintain documentation and follow established standards to ensure automations are supportable and transferable.
Collaborate with senior automation engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to support continuous improvement initiatives.
Support automation solutions built using Microsoft Power Platform in line with delivery standards and security requirements.
Assist in troubleshooting integrations, workflow logic, and data handling issues to ensure stable execution.
Apply workflow‑based logic to understand automation behavior and assist with approved enhancements or fixes.
Contribute to the development of small automations or enhancements under guidance when required.

Resolve automation incidents and requests within defined SLAs, ensuring minimal business disruption.

Maintain Power Automate as a required skill.
Reduce Power Apps requirements from specialist-level expertise to working knowledge.
Elevate Python to a core skill to support automation, integrations, and future initiatives.
Expand the target profile to include candidates with experience in automation, application support, or software development.
Added interest in AI and intelligent automation as a desirable attribute.
Increase emphasis on troubleshooting, production support, and problem-solving capabilities.
Reposition the role as a combination of support, enhancement, and development activities.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Technology, Computer Science, IT, Engineering.
2 years+ experience working with Microsoft Power Automate and Power Apps in an enterprise or IT environment.
Experience supporting automations or systems in a production / BAU support context.
Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform: Power Automate, Power Apps, Power Automate Desktop (RPA)
Working knowledge of .NET based solutions and MS SQL Server or similar databases.
Understanding of workflow based logic and automated business processes.
Ability to analyze automation issues and support feasibility assessments for changes or new requests.
Familiarity with DEV / UAT / PROD environments and deployment processes.
Exposure to REST APIs, JSON/XML, and automation best practices.
Familiarity with Alteryx for support, troubleshooting, or small enhancements is a plus.
Python scripting exposure is a plus.
