Automation & Controls Engineer – Electrical

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in electrical, automation, controls, or instrumentation engineering within an industrial environment
• Experience supporting projects from design through commissioning and handoff
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, control systems, and applicable industry codes and standards
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office tools
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment

• Experience with power generation, distributed energy systems, or microgrids
• Familiarity with SEL relays (SEL-351, SEL-751, SEL-787)
• Experience with Structured Text and Ladder Logic programming
• Knowledge of industrial networking and communication protocols (Modbus TCP/IP, Ethernet/IP, CAN)
• Experience supporting commissioning activities across multiple project teams
