About the Role
EVOLTEC is seeking a Senior Consultant with hands-on experience in Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) to design, build, and run automation in client environments across the MENA region.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections following best practices
- Deploy, configure, and administer Ansible Automation Platform 2.x Networking Automation
- Build and manage workflows, job templates, inventories, and credential management within AAP
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, patching, and compliance across Linux (RHEL) environments
- Integrate Ansible/AAP with CI/CD pipelines, Git based workflows, and enterprise tooling
- Lead client workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into automation solutions
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation estates for performance and reliability
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal delivery standards
Requirements
- 3 5 years of hands on production experience with Ansible
- Active, practical experience with AAP 2.x (or Ansible Tower) Networking Automation
- Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL preferred)
- Solid Git experience and familiarity with CI/CD concepts
- Understanding of Execution Environments, ansible builder, and collection management
- Excellent client facing communication skills
- Based in the UAE or able to relocate quickly; willingness to travel regionally
- Red Hat certifications (RHCE, Red Hat Certified Specialist) are a strong advantage

The Role
- We're looking for a Senior Consultant with strong, hands on, day to day experience with Ansible and Ansible Automation Platform (AAP). This is a delivery focused role — you'll be designing, building, and running automation in real client environments.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and collections following best practices (idempotency, modularity, version control)
- Deploy, configure, and administer Ansible Automation Platform 2.x Networking Automation — Automation Controller, Execution Environments, Private Automation Hub, and RBAC
- Build and manage workflows, job templates, inventories (static and dynamic), and credential management within AAP
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, patching, and compliance across Linux (RHEL) environments
- Integrate Ansible/AAP with CI/CD pipelines, Git based workflows, and enterprise tooling (ServiceNow, monitoring, cloud platforms)
- Lead client workshops, gather requirements, and translate them into automation solutions
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing automation estates for performance and reliability
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal delivery standards
What We're Looking For
- 3–5 years of hands on production experience with Ansible — writing, testing, and maintaining playbooks and roles in live environments
- Active, practical experience with AAP 2.x (or Ansible Tower) Networking Automation — installation, upgrades, day 2 administration, and troubleshooting
- Strong Linux administration skills (RHEL preferred)
- Solid Git experience and familiarity with CI/CD concepts (GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar)
- Understanding of Execution Environments, ansible builder, and collection management
- Experience with dynamic inventories and automating against cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and/or network devices is a plus
- Red Hat certifications (RHCE, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Developing Automation with Ansible Automation Platform) are a strong advantage
- Excellent client facing communication skills; comfortable leading technical discussions
- Based in the UAE or able to relocate quickly; willingness to travel regionally for projects
