Responsibilities
- Assist mechanics with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, and repair work
- Perform basic maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and battery replacement
- Clean, organize, and maintain the workshop, tools, and equipment
- Help remove, install, and replace vehicle parts and components
- Prepare vehicles and work areas before and after repairs
- Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and workshop supplies
- Follow all workplace health and safety procedures
- Support the team in completing repair jobs efficiently and on schedule
- Keep accurate records of completed tasks as required
Requirements
- Previous experience in an automotive workshop is an advantage but not required
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive tools
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
