Responsibilities
- Conduct audits of financial statements, internal controls, and regulatory compliance requirements
- Review accounting records, financial statements, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Perform risk assessments and identify opportunities for operational and financial process improvements
- Prepare audit working papers, reports, and recommendations in accordance with professional auditing standards
- Assist in planning, organizing, and executing audit engagements within established timelines
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal control systems and recommend enhancements
- Communicate audit findings, observations, and recommendations to management and clients
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication
- Provide expert advice on tax planning, compliance, and reporting in accordance with UAE tax regulations
- Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure clients remain informed and compliant
- Prepare and review tax returns and related filings for individuals and businesses
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in accounting
- Basic knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and International Standards on Auditing (ISA)
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and relevant accounting software
- Fluency in English and Arabic (Required)
