Position Overview
The firm is hiring audit staff to work off-site in a back-office setting.
Two Audit Senior/Supervisor tracks are available: construction, infrastructure, and consultancy; and financial-sector engagements.
Engagement Responsibilities
- Perform audits for construction, infrastructure, consultancy, IT, and security-services clients.
- Perform audits for insurance, mutual fund, investment company, and bank-branch clients.
- Complete financial audits from fieldwork through finalization.
- Prepare financial statements from trial balance, including consolidated financial statements.
- Manage assigned audit areas, follow up with clients, and meet deadlines.
- Resolve audit matters and maintain audit documentation.
Construction and Consultancy Track
- Applicants should be professionally qualified or part-qualified through ACCA, CA, CPA, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 6–7 years of relevant audit experience is required.
- Articleship at a Big 6 audit firm is required, preferably with a GCC secondment.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, especially IFRS 9, IFRS 15, and IFRS 16, and ISA is required.
- Experience preparing financial statements from trial balance, including consolidated statements and group audits, is required.
