Job Summary

  • Tarabichi Healthcare is seeking a qualified and compassionate audiologist to join our multidisciplinary team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of patients with hearing, balance, and auditory disorders across all age groups.
  • The role involves performing comprehensive audiological evaluations, recommending appropriate treatment plans, fitting hearing devices, providing patient counseling, and working closely with ENT specialists to deliver evidence based patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive hearing and balance assessments for pediatric and adult patients.
  • Perform diagnostic audiological tests including Pure Tone Audiometry (PTA), Tympanometry, Otoacoustic Emissions (OAE), Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR), Speech Audiometry, and Vestibular assessments (where applicable).
  • Diagnose hearing loss and balance disorders and prepare detailed clinical reports.
  • Counsel patients and families regarding hearing loss, treatment options, hearing conservation, and rehabilitation.
  • Recommend, fit, program, verify, and troubleshoot hearing aids and other assistive listening devices.
  • Support cochlear implant assessments, mapping, rehabilitation, and follow up care where applicable.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.
  • Collaborate with ENT consultants and other healthcare professionals in multidisciplinary patient management.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with DHA regulations and organizational standards.
  • Participate in hearing screening programs, community awareness initiatives, and patient education activities.
  • Stay updated with advancements in audiology through continuing professional development and clinical education.
  • Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety, and quality assurance policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Audiology or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience as an audiologist.
  • Experience in hospital or specialty ENT settings is preferred.
  • A valid DHA license as an audiologist is mandatory.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong knowledge of diagnostic audiology and hearing rehabilitation.
  • Experience with hearing aid fitting, verification, and counseling.
  • Knowledge of vestibular assessment is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong patient counseling and clinical documentation abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Language Requirements

  • Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory.

Compensation
