Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain AV systems, including projectors, displays, speakers, microphones, lighting, and control systems.
- Set up and support video conferencing solutions.
- Perform system checks before events and meetings.
- Provide real time technical support during live sessions.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance.
- Document configurations, test results, and service activities.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers on AV deployments.
- Ensure work follows safety and quality standards.
- Offer user training on AV equipment as needed.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Audio Visual (AV) Systems, including installation, configuration, and basic programming of displays, audio processors, controllers, and signal routing devices.
- Proficiency in Troubleshooting AV hardware and software issues.
- Experience setting up and supporting Video Conferencing platforms and related peripherals.
- Hands on experience with Lighting systems for events and installations.
- Practical experience working with Projectors, including mounting, alignment, calibration, lens adjustments, and maintenance.
- Ability to read technical drawings and wiring diagrams, and familiarity with low voltage cabling, rack building, and safe equipment handling.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work on site in Dubai, manage time effectively, and support flexible hours or occasional overtime.
- Previous experience in professional AV installation, live events, or systems integration.
