About the Role
Amigo International seeks an AV Technician with 2+ years of experience to set up, operate, and maintain AV equipment for events and meetings. The role requires troubleshooting skills and knowledge of soundboards, projectors, and video monitors.

Responsibilities
- Set up and operate AV equipment for meetings, conferences, events, and presentations (e.g., microphones, speakers, projectors, video monitors, recording equipment, soundboards).
- Ensure all AV systems are functioning properly before and during events.
- Collaborate with event planners and clients to determine AV requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and testing of AV systems and equipment.
- Provide training and support to end users on AV systems and conference room technology.
- Document setups, technical issues, and resolutions for future reference.
- Manage inventory and ensure proper storage of AV equipment.
- Stay current with new AV technologies and industry best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in AV technology, electronics, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in AV setup, maintenance, and support
