Responsibilities
- Sync audio vocals with the mouth movements in the video
- Perform in all aspects of audio recording, editing, mixing and finishing
- Edit and clean raw audio files (remove noise, glitches, inconsistencies, mistakes, etc.)
- Work closely with production team to meet deadlines
- Assist in creating and maintaining the sound, tone, and style of shows
- Implement templates for maximum efficiency
- Organize tracking system to maintain accountability and ensure finished recordings are delivered on deadline
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Recording Arts or related field
- Proficient in music and video editing software
- Technical skill in mixing, scoring, and editing
- A portfolio of previous work
- Detail oriented
- Can easily identify different notes and melodies
- Creative thinker
- A good ear for musical tones
- The ability to balance audio and visuals effectively
- Prior experience in music editing preferred
- Excellent communication and coordination skills

Role Overview

Audio Editor Responsibilities
