Job Summary
Entry-level management position supporting daily housekeeping, recreation or health club, and laundry activities as applicable.
Directs and works with employees to maintain guestrooms and public spaces while supporting guest satisfaction and the operating budget.
Schedule and Location
- Full-time position located at West Bay, Doha, Qatar.
- The role is based in hotel operations and requires physical presence across guestrooms and public spaces.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED plus two years of housekeeping or related professional experience.
- Alternatively, a two-year degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major with no work experience required.
Housekeeping Operations
- Supervise shifts, inspections, policies, standards, procedures, staffing, and corrective actions.
- Manage room assignments, room-status communication, supplies, linen inventory, ordering, lost-and-found, and loss prevention.
- Coordinate guest-room maintenance needs with Engineering.
Guest Service
- Handle guest problems and complaints, seeking supervisory assistance when needed.
- Review guest feedback and satisfaction results with employees and empower staff to provide excellent service.
Human Resources Activities
- Support training, coaching, counseling, performance feedback, appraisals, interviewing, hiring, accident investigations, and progressive discipline.
- Manage payroll administration, employee scheduling, and time and attendance tracking through the Labor Management System.
