Job Summary
Entry-level management position supporting daily Housekeeping, Recreation or Health Club, and Laundry activities when applicable.

Completes inspections, holds employees accountable for corrective action, supports guest and employee satisfaction, and helps maintain the operating budget.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED plus two years of experience in housekeeping or a related professional area.
- Alternatively, a two-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major with no work experience required.
- Current knowledge and understanding of OSHA regulations are required.
Housekeeping Operations and Budgets
- Oversee lost and found procedures and prepare room-cleaning work assignments from immediate-cleaning and prospective check-out lists.
- Inventory stock, linen, and guest supplies; ensure adequate supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
- Communicate guest room status to the Front Desk and coordinate guest room maintenance needs with Engineering.
- Ensure employees have proper supplies, equipment, and uniforms.
- Supervise daily shifts, housekeeping standards, inspections, and related areas when senior housekeeping leaders are absent.
- Understand and comply with loss prevention policies and procedures.
Customer Service
- Handle guest problems and complaints, seeking supervisor assistance when necessary.
- Review comment cards and guest satisfaction results with employees.
- Empower employees to provide excellent customer service within established guidelines.
- Set a positive example for guest relations.
Human Resources Activities
- Support training initiatives for current and new employees.
- Communicate performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide feedback on service behaviors.
- Coach, counsel, and encourage employees and participate in performance appraisals.
- Manage payroll administration and supervise staffing levels to meet guest service, operational, and financial objectives.
- Participate in accident investigations, hiring, and progressive disciplinary procedures as needed.
- Use the Labor Management System to schedule staff and track time and attendance.

- Full-time position located at West Bay, Doha, Qatar.
