Role Overview
Lead the end-to-end payments processing function and ensure transactions are accurate and completed within agreed service levels.
The role covers payment authorization, accounting approvals, reconciliations, reporting, audit support, risk reduction, and process transformation.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Authorize SWIFT payments, account credits, manager’s cheques, and vendor payments.
- Review and approve accounting entries, General Ledger postings, and financial transactions.
- Oversee vendor settlements, utility payments, employee reimbursements, petty cash, and recurring finance transactions.
- Monitor payment metrics, manage reconciliations, and resolve payment or accounting exceptions.
- Prepare management reports and support internal, external, and regulatory audits.
- Drive automation, process optimization, enhanced controls, and operational excellence across payment operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of banking operations, payment processing, accounting principles, and financial controls.
- Experience managing high-volume payment environments and using Oracle ERP Accounts Payable Module.
- Knowledge of local and international payments, including AED and foreign-currency transactions.
