The Associate Vice President (AVP) for Enterprise Data & Analytics Platforms serves as a critical executive leader responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, and continuous evolution of the organization's enterprise-wide data and analytics platforms and capabilities. This executive role combines strategic vision with operational leadership to ensure the Enterprise platform delivers measurable business value, drives data-driven decision making across the enterprise, and positions the organization for future innovation.
Reporting to the VP , Enterprise Data Platforms & Capabilities or equivalent executive, the AVP acts as the primary bridge between business strategy, technical capabilities, and end-user needs, ensuring the data and analytics platform remains a strategic asset that enables competitive advantage and operational excellence.
Define and execute the long-term strategic vision for the enterprise data and analytics platform, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and market trends
Champion data-driven culture and transformation initiatives across the enterprise, serving as an evangelist for analytics-led decision making
Identify and capitalize on emerging technologies, methodologies, and market opportunities to maintain competitive advantage
Establish the Rahona platform's strategic roadmap, balancing innovation with operational stability and business value realization
Own the enterprise product, business architecture and roadmap strategy for the Rahona data & analytics platform capabilities (e.g., onboarding paths, learning journeys, reference architectures, patterns, playbooks).
Establish standards for “how to use the platform” (golden paths), reducing time-to- first-value for product teams and analytics users.
Build and run a capability adoption model including community-of-practice, centers of excellence, office hours, and onboarding “concierge” support.
Develop multi-year strategic plans for the data and analytics platform aligned with enterprise objectives
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform platform strategy and innovation priorities
Define success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure platform impact and business value
Accountable for the business operations and support operating model across intakes, requests, including triage, escalation, and problem management.
Reduce recurring incidents through root-cause, automation, and reliability improvements in partnership with engineering and production support services
Establish SLAs/SLOs and service KPIs for platform capabilities; implement disciplined incident, change, and release practices.
Ensure platform stability, resilience, and compliance with enterprise controls and policies.
Lead business planning, budgeting, and resource allocation for the platform, optimizing investment across people, technology, and initiatives
Drive operational efficiency through process optimization, automation, and best practice implementation
Serve as the executive owner of the Rahona enterprise data and analytics platform, with end-to-end accountability for its success
Define and prioritize platform capabilities, features, and services based on business needs, technical feasibility, and strategic value
Oversee the development and enhancement of platform products and services, ensuring they meet enterprise standards for quality, security, and usability
Establish platform governance frameworks including data quality, security, privacy, and compliance standards
Partner with platform product/engineering to shape roadmap based on adoption friction, support demand, value, business priorities and consumer feedback.
Own “voice of customer” mechanisms (feedback loops, NPS-like signals, friction logs) to drive measurable improvements.
Mature self-service, automation, and observability to improve stability and reduce operational load.
Focus on automation and agentic capabilities to reduce costs, improve efficiency and enable new services and capabilities for the platform in partnership with Engineering and operations.
Drive the evolution of platform architecture to support advanced analytics, AI/ML, and emerging use cases
Establish and maintain a product catalog of platform services with clear service definitions and consumption models
Act as the voice of the end user, ensuring platform capabilities are designed with user experience, accessibility, and adoption as core principles
Develop and execute comprehensive change management and user enablement strategies to drive platform adoption and maximize business impact
Establish feedback mechanisms and continuous engagement with business stakeholders to understand evolving needs and pain points
Build self-service capabilities and enablement programs that empower business users to independently leverage data and analytics
Manage platform P&L, budget development, and financial forecasting with accountability for cost optimization
Develop business cases and ROI analyses for platform investments and initiatives
Implement chargeback or show back models to promote responsible platform consumption
Monitor and report on platform financial performance, utilization , and business value delivery
Partner with TD Data FinOps (or lead the component relevant to capability enablement) to improve transparency and cost efficiency for platform usage, aligning with enterprise objectives for optimization .
Ensure support and enablement processes align to governance and controls; coordinate with risk, privacy, and security stakeholders.
Maintain documentation and evidence for operational controls, resilience, access processes, and compliance requirements.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and corporate policies related to data management
Lead risk assessment and mitigation strategies for platform operations, security, and business continuity
Partner with legal, security, and compliance teams to address data privacy, protection, and ethical use concerns
Shared accountability with Platform Engineering, Production Support Services, Infrastructure & Engineering, Security, Governance, and Data Product/Consumer teams for:
Adoption outcomes and time-to-value
Operational stability and incident reduction
