Responsibilities
- Support the development of the EFS franchise across the Middle East
- Identify and originate ECA backed financing opportunities with sovereigns, corporates, project sponsors, and financial institutions
- Draft indicative offers in collaboration with the Products & Structuring team
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients, ECAs, exporters, financial institutions, and advisors
- Structure and execute ECA covered and structured export finance transactions across various sectors
- Coordinate due diligence processes including financial, technical, legal, insurance and environmental & social aspects
- Lead or support negotiations of financing documentation
- Prepare credit applications, internal committee materials, and transaction presentations
- Monitor transaction performance and ongoing client relationships
- Support portfolio reviews, waivers, amendments, and refinancing opportunities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or related field
- Minimum 6 to 12 years of experience in the export finance sector or structured finance environment
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and logical skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong familiarity with ECA financing structures and OECD consensus framework
- Fluency in English both written and spoken

Description du poste
- The Associate/Vice President will support the origination, structuring, execution and portfolio management of Export Credit Agency (ECA), multilateral agencies, and private insurers finance transactions across the Middle East (GCC & Egypt).
- The role requires strong client relationship capabilities, transaction execution skills, and the ability to coordinate internally across products, coverage, legal, compliance, distribution, and risk teams, as well as externally with ECAs, borrowers, sponsors, advisors, and other lenders.
Origination & Business Development
- Support the development of the EFS franchise across the Middle East.
- Identify and originate ECA backed financing opportunities with sovereigns, corporates, project sponsors, and financial institutions.
- Draft indicative offers in collaboration with the Products & Structuring team of the EFS business line.
- Maintain and develop relationships with clients, government entities, ECAs, exporters, EPC contractors, financial institutions, and advisors.
- Work closely with Coverage and other product teams to deliver integrated financing solutions.
Transaction Structuring & Execution
- Structure and execute ECA covered and structured export finance transactions across various sectors including infrastructure, energy, transport, industrials, and telecom.
- Coordinate due diligence processes including financial, technical, legal, insurance and environmental & social aspects.
- Lead or support negotiations of financing documentation alongside the Products & Structuring team and external counsel.
- Prepare credit applications, internal committee materials, and transaction presentations.
- Coordinate execution processes from mandate through signing and financial close.
Portfolio & Risk Management
- Monitor transaction performance and ongoing client relationships.
- Support portfolio reviews, waivers, amendments, and refinancing opportunities.
Internal Coordination
- Work closely with Coverage teams, Products & Structuring team, Trade Finance, Syndication & Distribution, Sustainable Banking / ESG, Legal and Compliance, and senior management.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives, business planning, and franchise development.
Critères de candidature
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business or related field. Master's degree and/or CFA considered an advantage.
- Minimum 6 to 12 years of experience in the export finance sector or in a structured finance environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and logical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Proactive, disciplined and solutions oriented.
- Commercial mindset with strong relationship management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and a commitment to solving issues.
- Strong familiarity with ECA financing structures and OECD consensus framework.
- Strong understanding of ECA loan documentation and financing structures.
- Experience in Middle East related transactions preferred.
- Ability to manage complex multi stakeholder transactions.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken required. Arabic and/or French would be a strong advantage.
