As our new CBS CSU Associate CAD & BIM Engineer, you will be supporting the design and development of 2D/3D models and Building Information Models that drive precision engineering across Grundfos manufacturing and construction projects. What you will be doing As a key part of the CBS Construction Services Unit team, you'll create impact by Collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver accurate, high-quality CAD and BIM solutions that streamline manufacturing processes and support Grundfos's mission of pioneering sustainable water technology.. Your main responsibilities include: • Create and maintain 2D/3D CAD drawings and BIM models for manufacturing and facility projects in accordance with Grundfos standards • Collaborate with project engineers and architects to integrate BIM workflows into design and construction processes • Perform clash detection, model coordination, and quality checks to ensure design accuracy and constructability • Support the development and maintenance of CAD/BIM templates, libraries, and standard components • Assist in translating engineering specifications into detailed technical drawings and digital models • Contribute to continuous improvement of CAD and BIM processes, tools, and best practices
What makes you a great fit Above all, you are a detail-oriented engineering professional with solid CAD and BIM skills, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine interest in sustainable manufacturing and construction technology. We would also imagine that you have: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline • 3-5 years of experience working with CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor, or SolidWorks) and BIM tools • Strong understanding of engineering drawings, technical standards, and 3D modeling principles • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken It is a plus if you also: • Experience with BIM 360 or other cloud-based collaboration platforms • Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial facility design environments • Knowledge of Grundfos products or pump system engineering
