Position Overview
Boeing India Engineering is seeking an Associate Structural Analysis Engineer in Service Engineering in Bangalore.
The role supports airframe service engineering capability and provides continuous technical support to Boeing commercial airplane customers.
The team addresses complex structural challenges related to safety, fleet operation, and return to service.
Position Responsibilities
- Perform structural analysis of aircraft components, assemblies, and systems as part of an integrated team.
- Collaborate with service engineers on root cause analysis and corrective actions for in-service airframe and mechanical-system issues.
- Perform static strength, durability, fatigue, and damage-tolerance analyses to determine structural integrity and margins of safety.
- Evaluate aircraft structural integrity using classical hand calculations and finite element methods.
- Generate documentation reporting analysis and test results to support certification and qualification.
- Support gated reviews that validate the quality and completeness of work packages.
- Apply FAA and Mil-Spec regulatory frameworks to support safety and regulatory compliance.
- Guide structural design and configuration development.
- Investigate failures and analyze improvements for in-service products.
- Perform trade studies to optimize structures and meet program requirements.
