Key Responsibilities
Love Our Customers: Partner closely with sales teams as the go-to identity authority, aligning Auth0 solutions directly with developer pain points and business goals through tailored, value-driven product demonstrations.
Build and Own It: Architect and execute hands-on Proof of Concepts (POCs) for complex customer use cases, taking full accountability for technical validation alongside cross-functional engineering teams.
Always Secure. Always On.: Confidently address in-depth technical, application security, and identity infrastructure inquiries from developers, architects, and CTOs to ensure reliable, high-trust deployments.
Drive What’s Next: Serve as the strategic voice of the customer, bringing critical market insights and developer feedback back to Product Management to continuously evolve our platform.
Innovate & Share Knowledge: Champion scalable best practices, build reusable solution assets, and act as an identity evangelist at industry events, hackathons, and customer briefings.
Required Qualifications
Presales & Technical Ownership: 4+ years as a Presales, Solutions, or Sales Engineer in IAM or security, with a proven track record of directly engaging and gaining trust with developer personas, software engineers, and architects.
Identity Market Acumen: Deep understanding of the identity security ecosystem and enterprise landscape, with the ability to navigate complex customer architectures and competitive market dynamics.
Always Secure Architecture: Hands-on expertise with core identity standards (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, LDAP) and modern application security principles (encryption, XSS, CSRF, token management).
Technical Communication & Whiteboarding: Exceptional ability to translate complex identity architectures into clear, high-impact technical narratives through live coding, dynamic whiteboarding, and executive presentations.
Collaborative Partner Ecosystems: Demonstrated experience building and owning partner engagements, co-selling alongside channel allies, and enabling technical partners to drive mutual customer success.
