Role Description
We are looking for a motivated Associate Software Engineer - Salesforce to support Salesforce development, deployment, and maintenance activities across Production and non-Production environments. This role is ideal for candidates with Salesforce development experience who are eager to develop their technical expertise in Salesforce Communities and application support.
The candidate will work closely with Platform senior engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality Salesforce solutions and operational support.
Must-Have Skills
Provide day-to-day support for Production and non-Production Salesforce environments of Artemis ( Clinical Artwork tool) within the Amgen Regulated environment.
Hands-on experience with the Salesforce Lightning Platform (Aura and/or LWC) and understanding of core Salesforce configuration capabilities.
Experience with MuleSoft, including supporting APIs, monitoring integrations, reviewing logs, and troubleshooting connectivity or data flow issues between Salesforce and external systems like Veeva.
Support integrations between Salesforce and external platforms like Veeva with, MuleSoft as middleware. Monitoring jobs, performing initial issue triage, and escalating complex defects as needed.
Assist in developing and maintaining configured solutions, Visualforce pages, and Lightning components within Service Cloud and Commerce Cloud.
Participate in proof-of-concept activities and support exploration of emerging capabilities, including AI/ML use cases, under supervision.
Resolve routine support tickets and defects, ensuring timely updates and communication with stakeholders.
Work with cybersecurity and compliance teams to address identified vulnerabilities during code review and support required governance processes.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Sprint Planning, stand-ups) and provide updates on assigned tasks.
Follow established best practices to ensure maintainability and scalability of solutions.
Experience with Single sign on integration with platforms like Okta or Microsoft Entra and experience in configuring workflow using email notifications.
Hands-on experience with electronic signatures preferred.
Follow established coding standards and participate in peer reviews to maintain security, performance, and compliance standards, including adherence to VeraCode requirements
Work with Compliance team on periodic audits and reviews. Operate in a regulated environment and comply with all required policies, documentation, and audit standards.
