About the Role
Capital One Canada is hiring an Associate Software Engineer, New Grad, for its Card Expansion team in Toronto.
The role involves designing, coding, testing, and delivering software solutions for customers and Canadian banking products.
Associates may work across frontend, backend, full-stack, mobile, cloud, or cybersecurity development.
Technical Skills
- Potential technologies include Android Studio, XCode, Visual Studio Code, and IntelliJ.
- Potential languages include Kotlin, Swift, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, and NodeJS.
- Potential AWS services include S3, EC2, Lambda, Route53, Security Groups, and IAM roles.
- Potential monitoring tools include Splunk, New Relic, and CloudWatch.
- Potential testing frameworks include MockitoJUnitRunner, Espresso, and XCTest.
- Preferred experience includes frontend development, React, Vue, Angular, Jenkins CI/CD, microservices, API integration, and Git.
Responsibilities
- Work throughout the software development life cycle as part of an Agile team.
- Collaborate with designers and analysts on enhancements and new applications.
- Develop code that meets story acceptance criteria and participate in design and code reviews.
