Role Overview
Generate precise, reliable, reproducible data in support of early-phase development of new chemical entities.
Support drug substance and drug product development across preclinical and clinical programs.
Work within global Analytical R&D and with cross-functional research and development partners.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform routine analytical laboratory tasks independently and within required timelines.
- Document experimental activities and results in electronic systems using GMP-compliant practices.
- Analyze results, identify deviations, troubleshoot experiments and instrumentation, and modify protocols when needed.
- Apply new techniques, consult relevant literature, and place data in the appropriate scientific context.
- Contribute through laboratory and pilot-plant activities while following safety, material-handling, controlled-substance, radioactive-compound, and GxP standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, analytical chemistry, or equivalent education with typically three or more years of experience, or a master's degree or equivalent education.
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of chromatography and/or spectroscopy is highly preferred.
