Associate Sales Manager

Proposal Development

• Work with Applications Engineering and Proposal Engineering teams.
• Assist with budgetary proposals and quotation development.
• Learn system sizing, solution development and proposal preparation processes.

Customer Relationships

• Build relationships with plant personnel, engineering groups and operations teams.
• Participate in customer meetings and follow-up discussions.
• Develop consultative selling and needs assessment skills.

CRM and Sales Process

• Maintain customer and opportunity information within CRM.
• Track leads and opportunities through the sales process.
• Support forecasting and pipeline reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, mechanical and technical aptitude and comfort learning complex industrial processes.
• Motivation, curiosity, coachability, initiative and interest in industrial capital equipment sales.
• Experience with industrial customers and CRM systems is preferred.
