Role Overview

Key Responsibilities and Duties

• Design ETL interfaces and database interfaces for data providers.
• Develop and maintain the code base in GitLab.
• Conduct system testing and debugging.
• Develop ETL workflows and automation scripts.
• Build workflows that improve data quality.
• Perform L3 support for risk data warehousing workflows.
• Analyze data and address external and internal user queries.
• Work with release management to productionize developments.
• Communicate and collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Support UI development using Java and related libraries or frameworks.

Educational and Experience Requirements

• A university degree is preferred.
• At least 3 years of work experience is required; 5 or more years is preferred.
• Experience within or supporting technology and risk operations is required.
• Risk technology experience in leading financial services organizations is preferred.

Technical and Functional Skills

• Strong SQL, AWS Cloud, and Python skills are required.
• Technical stack includes Oracle, Python, PL/SQL, and Snowflake.
• Scheduling experience with Autosys or Control-M is required.
• Experience with RiskMetrics, Barra, and risk data is required.
• Familiarity with financial products and risk analytics is required.
• Knowledge of MSCI Risk Metrics is preferred.
• The role requires adaptability, attention to detail, independent judgment, and timely delivery.
