Associate Project Manager

Commercial and reporting duties

• Assemble and own project delivery programmes and delivery plans.
• Provide regular reports covering cost, schedule, performance, and earned value.
• Support accurate invoicing and effective credit control with the finance team.
• Compare revenue with predicted costs and identify risk allowances, margins, and provisions.

Qualifications and experience

• Chartered Engineer or Chartered Architect qualification.
• Experience on design commissions for large infrastructure projects.
• Experience in one or more of water infrastructure, stations, aviation, defence infrastructure, energy, or urban development.
• Experience managing small and medium-sized design projects to time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Familiarity with programming and earned value techniques.

Technical knowledge

• Familiarity with scope definition papers, project execution plans, risk registers, change control logs, and client and stakeholder management plans.
• Familiarity with BIM and an understanding of 3D modelling tools for design and coordination.
• Understanding of information attributes that can be assigned to and managed within a model.
