About the Role

Aikaara Technologies builds and maintains enterprise web applications for US-based clients using an AI-first delivery model.

The Associate Project Manager will coordinate delivery, run sprints, write documentation, test features, and connect developers, QA, UI/UX, and clients.

The role is based in Pune and is full-time, with 2–3 years of relevant experience expected.

The role reports to the Product Head and offers a growth path to Project Manager based on delivery ownership.

AI Skills

Daily use of AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools is expected.
The role requires clear prompt writing and the ability to obtain usable output quickly.
Candidates should use AI to understand unfamiliar codebases or products and explain them in plain language.
AI may be used to draft specifications, user stories, test cases, release notes, and client emails, with human review and ownership.
Candidates must recognize incorrect, incomplete, or invented AI output and verify it before acting.
Claude Code and Cursor will be taught in depth through structured training.
Independently building an AI script, app, automation, dashboard, or internal tool is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate day-to-day delivery across development, QA, and UI/UX.
Run daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Create user stories with acceptance criteria and keep Jira current.
Draft specifications, BRDs, test cases, meeting summaries, and status reports with AI tools.
Test staging features and report reproducible bugs.
Track progress, dependencies, and blockers and escalate early.
Participate in client calls and convert discussions into actionable tickets.
Prepare weekly status reports and release notes.
Support UAT, production releases, and post-release checks.
Maintain project documentation for effective onboarding.

Required Skills

Relevant experience may come from project coordination, delivery, business analysis, QA, or associate product roles in a software or product company.
A working understanding of Agile, Scrum, and the software development lifecycle is required.
Hands-on experience with Jira or a comparable tracking tool is required.
Strong written and spoken English is required for direct communication with US clients.
Clear documentation, information structuring, attention to detail, ownership, and follow-through are required.
Candidates should be comfortable working from the Pune office with some overlap with US client hours.

Technical Understanding and Tools

Functional understanding of web application structure, React.js, Ruby on Rails, REST APIs, basic SQL, Git, and branching is expected.
Candidates should understand staging, UAT, and production release flow.
Tools include Jira, Confluence, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Workspace, and Excel or Sheets.
Hands-on coding experience is not mandatory, but candidates should be able to read code with AI assistance and discuss technical topics with developers.

Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology is preferred.
Exposure to SaaS, ERP, or enterprise software projects is preferred.
Exposure to international or US-based clients is preferred.
CSM or PSM certification is a plus but is not required.
