Effectively communicates with patients and others about SBH services in their area(s) of expertise or responsibility and ensures that concerns, questions or issues reach the right person(s) in SBH in a timely fashion. - Demonstrates the standards of performance and behaviors consistent with the DRIVE to Patient-Centered Excellence.
- Responsible for recruitment of anesthesia residents - Participates with the interview process, screening applicants and interviewing applicants for the residency program. - Participates in Attending calibration meetings. - gives lectures to residents - Develop clinic protocols dealing with patient management and clinic operations for operating room cases. - Take the lead in the Department. - Works with all section chiefs and chair on promoting a unified approach to Department operations and protocols.
- Developing programs of interest and need for the Residents - Manages patient complaints. (special needs adult cases) - Participates in attending calibration meetings.
- Responsible for meeting all accreditation requirements set by CODA
- Develop monthly clinical and didactic schedules for anesthesia residents
