Role Description
The Associate Product Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Greater Montreal, Quebec.
This position supports the end-to-end product lifecycle, including market research, competitive analysis, and gathering customer insights to inform product strategy.
The Associate Product Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams such as design, engineering, sales, and marketing to define product requirements, coordinate launches, and ensure product packaging and messaging align with brand standards.
Day-to-day tasks include monitoring product performance, maintaining product data and documentation, assisting with pricing and positioning, and supporting promotional activities.
The role also involves tracking industry trends, preparing reports and presentations, and contributing to continuous improvement of processes and product offerings.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in product management, including market research, requirements gathering, and product lifecycle support.
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in areas such as design, engineering, sales, and marketing.
- Strong analytical abilities, including data interpretation, performance tracking, and reporting.
- Proficient in using productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., spreadsheets, presentation software, project management platforms).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and ability to create clear documentation.
- Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in an on-site environment.
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in consumer products, health and wellness, lighting, or home electrical categories is an asset.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced setting and interest in developing a career in product management.
