Required Qualifications & Experience
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required).
Experience: 8–10 years in an accounting/controllership environment (internal or external).
Preferred certifications: CA / CPA / MBA (Finance).
Domain preference: Prior experience in Controllers within Retail Banking/Card (preferred).
Skills & Competencies
Strong understanding of US GAAP (preferred).
Strong analytical capability including variance analysis and ability to synthesize large datasets into clear messaging for leadership.
Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and attention to detail; able to operate with appropriate governance and controls mindset.
Ability to learn quickly, structure an approach, and execute to deliver results in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong project execution skills; ability to drive deliverables across stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Demonstrated leadership and people management / mentoring capability.
Systems / Tools (Preferred)
Advanced Excel skills.
Experience with SAP and Essbase (preferred).
Work Schedule
Primary shift: 2:00 PM – 11:00 PM , with extension during critical business periods (e.g., month-end, quarter-end, key regulatory deadlines).
