Role Overview
The Associate Product Controller owns product control activities including daily P&L reporting, month-end close, financial analysis, forecasting, revenue analysis, and key controls.
The role partners with stakeholders across product management, client services, sales, trading, business management, FP&A, and financial control.
Core Responsibilities
- Own daily P&L reports and month-end close processes while tracking underlying business drivers.
- Analyze financial results and movements in core metrics.
- Apply knowledge of billing, revenue recognition, and ledger booking to support accurate financial reporting.
- Review and update forecasts using run-rate analysis and planned business activity.
- Provide variance commentary to FP&A and senior management.
- Prepare and present monthly revenue analysis reports across multiple products.
- Own and maintain controls for reporting accuracy and compliance with firm standards.
Automation and Change
- Drive process automation initiatives using LLM Suite, Alteryx, or Tableau.
- Participate in strategic initiatives, business change programs, and process improvement projects.
