Role Overview
The Data Analytics Associate reviews complex analytics and statistical modeling on large datasets.
The role identifies market and customer trends that support business decisions and improve decision-making.
Core Responsibilities
- Approve analytical and statistical techniques used to understand market conditions and consumer needs.
- Review modeled trends for product development and marketing decisions.
- Oversee data mining models, statistical reporting, and data analysis methodologies.
- Develop and present reports for business, finance, and investment management.
- Manage complex projects or processes with limited oversight.
Data Analyst Duties
- Analyze data and generate insights for business decisions.
- Develop and maintain Tableau reports and dashboards.
- Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
- Use Python and Alteryx for analysis, data manipulation, and automation.
- Use Snowflake to access and analyze large datasets.
- Conduct data quality assessments and validation.
- Support data governance and maintain data documentation.
- Collaborate with business users to define reporting requirements.
- Translate business questions into analytical approaches and deliverables.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and support ad hoc analysis requests.
Required Experience and Education
- At least 2 years of work experience is required, with 3 or more years preferred.
- The job summary requests 6–9 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related roles.
- At least 3 years of Snowflake experience is required.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or wealth and investment management supporting US clients is required.
- A degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline is required in the skills section.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, data quality, and governance abilities are required.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong SQL proficiency is required.
- Working knowledge of Python is required.
- Experience with Snowflake is required.
- Familiarity with Alteryx is required.
- Strong Tableau reporting, dashboard, and visualization ability is required.
- Basic GIT knowledge is required.
Preferred Skills
- Statistical analysis and data modeling knowledge is preferred.
- Advanced Tableau features and calculations are preferred.
- Data visualization best practices are preferred.
- Agile experience is preferred.
- US financial regulations knowledge is preferred.
Schedule
- Shift hours are 1:30 PM IST to 10:30 PM IST.
Location and Workplace
- The listed location is Mumbai, with Pune also identified as a preferred location.
